- Fire prevention adaptation project and health & safety planning
Description
Technical adaptation of an existing industrial facility in Villaverde (Madrid) to current fire-safety regulations. The project included building diagnosis, identification of non-conformities, design of compartmentation, evacuation strategy, signage and emergency lighting, and specification of active and passive fire-protection systems. The documentation was prepared following the Spanish industrial fire-safety regulation (Reglamento de Seguridad contra Incendios en Establecimientos Industriales — RSCIEI) and complemented with a health & safety plan for the execution phase. Coordination focused on minimising operational impact during retrofit works, sequencing interventions by sector and ensuring the facility met certification requirements at handover. The result is an industrial environment with measurable improvements in life-safety performance and regulatory standing.
