Description
Technical project for a new industrial building in Mérida (Extremadura), covering basic and execution documentation, the health & safety study required under Spanish regulations (Real Decreto 1627/1997) and site direction during construction. Architecture was sized around the process equipment housed inside, with attention to floor loads, clear heights, daylight and ventilation, and an envelope appropriate for the Extremaduran climate. The health & safety study formalised risk identification, preventive measures and coordination protocols for the execution phase. Site direction guaranteed compliance with the executed design and with quality, dimensional and safety criteria. The project consolidated Locle Studio's footprint in western Spain and its capacity to handle the full technical responsibility of mid-scale industrial commissions.
