Description

Technical assistance for the refurbishment and extension of a corporate office building in Seville. The intervention reorganised the existing workspace footprint, improved circulation, daylight and acoustic comfort, and added a new built volume integrated with the original architecture. Documentation covered the full refurbishment cycle: prior surveying, demolition planning, structural review of the existing slabs, finishes specification, and coordination between architecture, mechanical installations and office fit-out. The project was developed with continuity of occupancy in mind, organising phased works so the client's daily operations remained active. As an early Locle Studio assignment in Andalusia, it consolidated the practice's approach to refurbishing operational workplaces with technical rigour, regulatory compliance and a contemporary spatial language.
